In therapy, you will be given a safe space for you to explore what’s going on in your life, in your relationships, and in your mind. It will be a time to discover more about yourself and creating self-awareness. We will work towards creating a process of empowerment and tapping into your inner strength.
Individual therapy is for children, adolescence, and adults struggling with symptoms and behaviors related to trauma, depression, anxiety, relational issues, significant life changes and/or other mood or behavior disorders.
The transitioning of adolescence to adulthood can be challenging and may be confusing for some. Transition aged youth (TAY), ages 16-24, are often asked to make informed major life decisions without appropriate support, information, or skills to succeed. Developmentally, these decisions can be difficult to make as areas of the brain utilized for impulse control, complex decision making, and planning skills are not completely developed. Without the proper guidance or assistance, TAY may experience difficulty maintaining academic or professional performance, interpersonal relationships, and/or mental and emotional health.
At Hidden strength, we provide services to adolescents who are struggling with symptoms and behaviors related to the transition between adolescence and adulthood.
